PCYC IoT students meet talon-ted footy role models
20 August 2026
Students and staff from PCYC’s Institute of Training were privileged to participate in a guided tour and meet-and-greet session at the West Coast Eagles Headquarters and training facilities.
This memorable experience was part of the West Coast Eagles community engagement program, where players and staff generously share their passion for football with the next generation.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome from Eagles CEO, Trevor Nisbett, followed by an exciting glimpse into the AFLW team’s training session.
Students engaged in insightful discussions with players, where they could ask questions and discuss topics, such as overcoming insecurities and gaining self-confidence.
The team shared their personal journeys to the AFL and emphasised the importance of making good health and life choices to achieve goals.
Following the visit, our students shared how inspired they felt by the conversations with the Eagles’ stars and felt empowered to adopt their tips into their own lives.
Thank you to the West Coast Eagles for their continued support of our children and young people and for giving them unique opportunities to meet role models.
