About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Accounts Officer who will be responsible for providing bank reconciliations, month end journals, and managing accounts payable and receivables.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices and expense claims, ensuring the appropriate documentation is attached.
  • Accounts Receivable invoicing, ensuring accurate coding and allocation of payments
  • Managing the bank reconciliation process for all bank accounts
  • Ensure all month end tasks are completed on time and status is updated regularly
  • Assist the finance team in preparing annual statutory financial statements to reporting standards and all aspects of the annual audit process as directed by Finance Manager

About you:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of accounting
  • Well-developed computer skills, including MS Office Suite and accounting software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to provide a high standard of customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with limited supervision as well as part of a team
  • Formal qualifications in accounting and bookkeeping (desirable)
