PCYC is WA's leading youth organisation working with the WA Police Force and the community to empower children and young people to reach their potential. This all happens from our 16 centres located from Albany in the south to Kununurra in the North-West.

About the Role:
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be acting as a Business Partner to all PCYC teams to deliver the organisation’s strategies and ensure robust financial controls are achieved. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Finance team, including leading and mentoring the team.
• Supporting the CFO as deputy, including working with key stakeholders and undertaking financial, statutory and board reporting.
• Providing strategic and operational recommendations on actions necessary in accordance with organisational strategies.

About you:

• Proven experience in financial management, particularly within a not-for-profit organisation.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualified.
• Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis, including both commercial and grant-funded operations.
• Proven aptitude for effective people leadership.
• Proficiency in using finance systems, experience using NetSuite is highly desirable.
• A track record of leading financial compliance, audits and risk management frameworks.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment, are solutions-focussed and have outstanding interpersonal skills with a customer service approach.
