WA PCYC is excited to launch our safeSPACE Connect program and we are on the lookout for a dynamic Program Coordinator in this newly established, innovative program providing case management and targeted programs that will create a positive impact for young people. The program will run at our four metro centres including, Midland, Rockingham, Fremantle and Kensington.

About the role:
Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator, safeSPACE Connect, will be:
  • Supporting a team of case workers across WA, ensuring the successful implementation across our Perth Metro locations
  • Providing leadership and support to ensure best practice youth work across PCYC centres.
  • Implementing a case management framework
  • Facilitating effective case management and delivering impactful programs
  • Working closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver engaging, impactful programs and case management that support the well-being and safety of at-risk youth
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by evaluating outcomes and implementing best practices, developing safe and effective workplace practice.

About you:
  • A tertiary qualification in Youth/Community or related areas
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating services with case management and targeted programs
  • Demonstrated experience in providing one to one casework services to assist clients with complex needs
  • Specialised knowledge and experience of utilising strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-aware, solutions focused approaches.
  • Well-developed knowledge of social, cultural and economic issues affecting young people
  • Possess high level written and interpersonal skills and competent in using Microsoft packages and other computer programs
  • Ability to practice to the standards of WA Youth Work Code of Ethics
  • Possess or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance issued within the 6-month period and Working with Children Check.
