Broome PCYC
In the late seventies, a public meeting was called to gauge interest in the town for a PCYC Centre. Following an enthusiastic response, a committee was elected and fundraising began!
Broome PCYC was officially opened in 1981. In 2021, the Centre underwent redevelopment, enabled by a grant from the State Government. These improvements provide a better environment for the hundreds of children and young people who attend Broome PCYC every week.
Well-known for its safeSPACE™ and Drive to the Future (DTTF) programs, Broome PCYC provides a welcoming space for young people where they have access to Youth Workers and take part in recreational activities like basketball and cultural workshops.
