Court House Spooktacular

140 children packed into the Northampton Court House for a night of fun, food and flicks thanks to the Northampton Blue Light™ Activity Unit.

Officers from the Northampton Police Station, transformed the Courthouse into a Cinema where young people came dressed in Halloween outfits to enjoy the movie Monsters Inc with popcorn and snacks.

OIC Sergeant Matt Donkin said he was blown away by the number of children that turned up.

“This is what we love doing on a Friday night. Giving kids something fun to do in a safe, supervised environment. We’re now busy planning a Christmas event and can’t wait to see their happy faces!”

Blue Light Youth Activity Units are established in remote and rural areas to help keen children and young people active and entertained where there’s no PCYC.
