First Certificate II Automotive students graduate
It was a proud moment when we saw 18 young people graduate from our first Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation course at Kensington PCYC this week.
At the end of the Automotive I course, it became apparent that young people needed something to aim towards after the course. Automotive II is the perfect complimentary course, where students learn how to identify and inspect mechanical and electrical components and systems of cars and equipment, as well as performs minor maintenance to engines.
After students have completed Automotive I and II their job opportunities include entry into an Automotive / Mechanical apprenticeship or work as a vehicle service assistant.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing lives transformed or moved onto a positive path. Now we have another 15 young people registered to start the course in the New Year. What a success!
