Gold, silver and bronze for PCYC STRYKA Fight Team
Northam PCYC STRYKA Fight Team goes from strength to strength, bringing home a collection of medals from two events in October.
The team walked away with gold, silver and bronze at the WAKO kickboxing championships in Belmont and another three state-level competition medals at the WA State Spring Novice Boxing Championships in Leederville.
The latest results bring the STRYKA Team State Level Combat Sports Championship medal tally to 13 for the year so far.
The Northam PCYC STRYKA Fight Team is a not-for-profit sporting club that provides local disadvantaged children and young people the opportunity to fight in a range of combat sports competitively – who might not otherwise have the opportunity to.
The coaches generously volunteer their time to help young people reach their full potential in their chosen combat sport of either Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jujitsu (BJJ) or full Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
The success of the team relies solely on the generosity of sponsors and private donations to pay for equipment and other expenses. If you can help in any way, please contact Northam PCYC on (08) 9622 2220.
