Local partnership with Fair Game

This month, Roebourne PCYC hosted volunteers from Fair Game, a health charity aiming to reduce inequality for underprivileged Australians via recycled sports equipment.

The young Fair Game volunteers and PCYC team ran health and fitness programs with local children to encourage oral, feet and hand hygiene while educating young people on the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

The ‘Healthy Hands’ activity was a hit, where children sketched scenarios where they should wash their hands, completed a Healthy Hands word search and drew colourful designs in the outlines of their hands. The budding artists created some spectacular artwork!
