School holiday fun at Roebourne PCYC!
During the school holidays, young people at Roebourne PCYC have been busy taking part in an impressive beach clean-up activity.
As they mapped out their school holiday agenda, young people collaborated on ways to give back to their community, ultimately deciding to spruce up the town’s beaches with a clean-up!
A beautiful Roebourne sunset was the backdrop for the safeSISTAS girls clean up at the local Point Samson beach, while the following evening boysGROUP boys took charge of Boat Beach for their clean-up.
PCYC is extremely proud of our young people’s efforts to give back to the community and make an impact on the environment!
In addition to the beach clean-up, the holiday itinerary also featured Milkshake Madness, where young people practised food preparation skills while enjoying some delicious beverages.
To close out the holidays young people are set to enjoy some football fun, a movie night, and a day at the pool!
Thank you to Regional Development Australia Pilbara for supporting Roebourne PCYC during the week and to Rio Tino for making these special activities possible on the weekends!
